Working platforms connect the scaffold structure with the task. Their selection affects access, usable space and daily site movement.
A scaffold may have strong standards, ledgers and supports, but the working platform is where people perform the task. Platform layout therefore needs to match the work area, intended access, tools and materials while remaining compatible with the supporting system.
Walkway platforms can provide continuous access along a facade, between work points or across a planned scaffold bay. They should not be treated as interchangeable boards: dimensions, support, fixing, surface condition and the complete scaffold design all matter.

State whether the platform will remain fixed, rotate between elevations or be used across several phases.
